  6. _What is MacFolklore?_
  7.  
  8. MacFolklore is a program that will quiz you on the history of the Macintosh
  9. computer. It comes with a bank of 50 questions, of which 10 are chosen at 
  10. random. More questions are available from the author when you register for
  11. $5.

  14. _What are the requirements?_
  15.  
  16. I'm really happy to say that almost any Mac can run MacFolklore. This is
  17. the first program I've run that doesn't automatically give an error when
  18. you have System 6. You should give it about a megabyte of memory to be 
  19. safe, but it really only needs about 600k.

  22. _What's this questions file for?_
  23.  
  24. Don't touch that! Sorry to yell, but MacFolklore won't work without that.
  25. The questions file must be in the same folder as MacFolklore and must not
  26. be renamed. That's the file that has all the questions and answers in it.
  27. If you're interested in writing your own questions, please read the file
  28. "How to change the questions" very carefully first.

  31. _What's all this documentation? I don't like reading? I'm not even
  32. reading this. Okay, you caught me._

  34. You don't need to read it all. Here's a brief description of what each
  35. file is for:

  37. "License" - This describes the licensing policy of MacFolklore
  38. "How to change the questions" - For making your own list of questions
  39. "The Grade A testing engine" - For writing your own quiz program
  40. "About the author" - About me, Scott J. Kleper

  43. _I just want to know how to run it_

  45. Just double-click it! If the questions file is in the same folder
  46. and still called "questions" it should run fine. If it doesn't, please
  47. drop me a note.

  50. _How can I register? What's in it for me?_

  52. Like I said above, registering gets you 100 bonus questions and the
  53. registered version of MacFolklore. It's only $5 to register and it'd
  54. make me very happy because I won't have to starve through the next
  55. four years of college.
